• Samantha Brownlee, Director and portfolio manager in the UK Core Equity team within BlackRock's Fundamental Equity division of BlackRock's Active Equity group. Samantha is responsible for the UK Equity and UK Focus portfolios alongside Luke Chappell, with a research emphasis on Basic Resources. Samantha joined Blackrock in December of 2022. Prior to joining Blackrock, Samantha worked at abrdn for 14 years working on the Pan European, US and UK equities teams. Samantha spent 7 years living in Philadelphia, working as a portfolio manager on US portfolios and covering North American stocks as a generalist, before returning to the UK in 2020.

• Andrew graduated with a BA in Modern History from Oxford University in 2004. He joined Baillie Gifford in the same year and is an Investment Manager in the UK Investment Team.
